Catch up as we discuss implications of Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) and how it presents a significant opportunity to reshape and improve the delivery of Children's Services.

With a focus on prevention, early help, and collaboration, LGR can unlock better outcomes for children and young people while supporting staff to thrive in a more integrated system, looking beyond the local authority boundary to maintain and strengthen partnerships.

Emmet Regan, Chief Operating Officer at Mutual Ventures, was joined by:

  • Colin Foster, who has been the Chief Executive of the Northamptonshire Children’s Trust since its establishment in 2020, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience in children's services. His leadership has been instrumental in transforming the performance of children's social care in Northamptonshire, ensuring that the Trust delivers crucial services for children, young people, and families.

  • Ian Dodds, Executive Director of Children’s Services for the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. As a Community Interest Company, Achieving for Children provides support and services to more than 50,000 children, young people and their families in south west London.

A great discussion for everyone thinking about how services will be shaped and impacted by LGR.
