Catch up on our webinar - Supporting Families and Children to Navigate Care Proceedings: Learning from Experts by Experience - This webinar was held on Thursday 13th June at 12pm.

The Department for Education's DFJ Trailblazers: Reducing Time to Family Court programme provides funding to local authorities within a DFJ area to pilot solutions aimed at reducing delay in the family court system.

Local authorities are implementing solutions to: tackle the drivers of delay across the family justice system, mitigate individual agencies working in silos, reducing Further Case Management Hearings, divert more cases from court and reduce costs across the family justice system.

This webinar is intended for the wider children's social care sector and will focus on ways to deliver services in an empathic way, taking into consideration insights from those who have direct experience of using the services.

The court environment can be an intimidating one for those going through care proceedings. By listening to experts by experience, how can the system learn and reflect on testimony from service users, and create an atmosphere more conducive to getting good outcomes in a timely way?

If you would like to discuss the project, please get in touch with morgan.finlayson@mutualventures.co.uk
