Watch our webinar where guests consider what we can learn from pathfinders.
Regional Care Cooperatives (RCCs) are set to become a defining feature of the next phase of children's social care reform.
While national policy is still evolving, pathfinder areas are already testing what RCCs could mean in practice - for systems, places, providers and communities.
This webinar explored how leaders can plan ahead for further roll-out of RCCs, rather than waiting for final guidance to land. Drawing on learning from the South East and Greater Manchester pathfinders and Mutual Ventures’ work on place-based reform, we looked at the choices that matter, the risks to avoid, and the foundations that need to be laid now.
We focused on:
What RCCs are really trying to achieve - beyond new structures
What pathfinders are doing differently, and what others can learn
How places can start preparing the necessary governance, leadership and partnerships capabilities.
We were joined by:
Wendy Williams, Lead Commissioning Consultant for the South East RCC
Steven Sinclair, Senior Commissioning Manager at the Greater Manchester RCC
