Learn more about our conference on health coaching and employment support held on Wednesday 12th November 2025.

Mutual Ventures and Peak Health Coaching co-hosted a half-day online conference Exploring How Health Coaching Can Support Healthy Working Lives for practitioners providing employment support to people experiencing ill-health.

The conference looked at the role of 'health coaching' and person-centred support in building capability, confidence and motivation among people to manage their own health and employment journey. Participants were predominantly front-line practitioners, including employment advisers, work and health coaches, and service managers.

Discussion focused on the experience of delivering health coaching in workplace settings, barriers to using health coaching approaches, and the opportunities for the future. We heard from speakers including:

  • Ollie Hart and Caroline Hart, Peak Health Coaching

  • John Copps, Mutual Ventures

  • Sam Atwell, Workplace health strategy lead, The Health Foundation

  • Glen Halliday, Strategic People Lead – Work & Health Integration, NHS Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Integrated Care Board (LLR ICB)

  • Paul Houseman, Health and Workplace Team Lead, Work Well NHS Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland

  • Adam Siu, Down2U Physiotherapy Founder and provider for Sheffield Work Well service
