Join us for the third in our #GettingStuffDone series to discuss the importance of creating a learning culture, 25th November, 1-2PM.

Listening, learning and improving must be built into the culture of delivery. A successful learning culture creates a community of people that are engaged, feel able to contribute, and enjoy each other’s challenge.

A key aspect of this is trust: giving practitioners the permission to use their judgment, whilst maintaining clear line of accountability. An effective learning culture gives professionals permission to try new approaches, learn from mistakes and in environment of openness and honesty. It encourages inquisitiveness about new ways of working and new solutions.

Faced with pressure to deliver on time and to budget, learning also provides resilience in delivery, setting a tone of support and constructive challenge when challenges arise.

MV’s COO, Emmet Regan, will chair the session and will be joined by:

  • Angela Clarke, Centre for Family Safeguarding

  • Professor Hannah Hesselgreaves, Manchester Metropolitan University

  • Morgan Nasir-Finlayson, Mutual Ventures
