Neighbourhood health is fast becoming one of the most important shifts in how public services are designed and delivered. Across the country, systems are moving away from fragmented, reactive services towards joined‑up, preventative support rooted in local communities - bringing health, employment, VCSEs and local government closer together around the lives of residents.
Join us for a national webinar bringing together DHSC leads from the National Neighbourhood Health Implementation Programme and DWP leads from the WorkWell Programme to explore where these two flagship reforms can, and must, align.
We’ll take stock of where each programme stands, including the launch of the Neighbourhood Health Framework and the national roll-out of WorkWell, and ask:
- How do we ensure that Work and Health initiatives are considered at this early stage of the Neighbourhood Health agenda?
- Where are the shared opportunities nationally, and at Place and Neighbourhood levels?
- What would meaningful alignment between the two programmes look like in practice?
