Catch up on our webinar: ‘Place’ and integrated care
Updated: Jun 24, 2021
Catch up on our webinar on 'Place' and integrated care, produced in partnership with Bevan Brittan on Wednesday 12th May.
‘Place’ is set to become a central factor in the reform of healthcare. Earlier this year, the Department for Health and Social Care published proposals for a Health and Care Bill that are underpinned by ‘place leadership’. The webinar looks at the reforms, and what they mean for local government and its relationship with the NHS.
The webinar covers:
What we know about the proposals for integrated care and the role of ‘place’
What ‘place leadership’ means in practice, with examples from Lincolnshire and Essex
Options for partnership between local government and the NHS
Glen Garrod, Executive Director of Adult Care and Community Wellbeing Lincolnshire County Council and board member of ADASS
Alex Green, Executive Chief Operating Officer, Essex University Partnership NHS Trust (EPUT)
Kirtpal Kaur-Aujla, Partner at Bevan Brittan
Matt Carter, Senior Consultant at Mutual Ventures
The session was chaired by John Copps, Managing Consultant at Mutual Ventures.
