Yannick Mitchell

Yannick joined Mutual Ventures in 2023, having worked for several years in children’s services across the charity and local government sectors, mainly in data, performance and project delivery roles.

Yannick has coached a number of local authorities to implement children’s social care reforms through the Department for Education’s Families First Partnership Programme. He has also been involved in the development of best practice guidance for Family Group Decision Making, a key pillar of the reforms.
Prior to this, Yannick worked with several local authorities to design and implement initiatives to reduce delays in the family court and led a programme of learning to share best practice from across the family justice system.

In addition to this, Yannick is interested in the development of Artificial Intelligence and the role it plays in shaping transformation across the public sector. He is passionate about supporting local authorities to implement AI in a safe and ethical way, and that continues to keep people at the heart of public services.
Yannick has a BA in Politics from the University of Nottingham and an MA in US Politics and History from University College London.

Outside of work, Yannick can be found updating his Letterboxd with many films, running, or playing tennis.
