Ross Murray

Ross joined Mutual Ventures in February 2024 and is an experienced consultant and project manager, who loves working with people and tackling complex challenges. He has strong analytical skills and experience supporting a range of public services across central government, local authorities, the NHS, and the third sector.

Ross started his career on the frontline in the prison service (through the Unlocked Graduates scheme), and then moved into consulting, where he has spent over five years helping all sorts of organisations improve what they do.

He has extensive experience leading and delivering consultancy projects for public sector organisations, including designing national programmes in children’s social care, conducting strategic financial reviews for councils, and evaluating initiatives for government departments. His work also covers supporting local authorities and social enterprises in adopting artificial intelligence ethically and embedding best practices through collaborative workshops and research.

Ross cares deeply about public sector improvement, enjoys working with diverse teams, and isn’t afraid to get stuck into a challenge.

Outside of work, Ross is usually found enjoying time with friends, appreciating a coffee in one of London’s parks, or with his head in a book.
