Matt Carter

Matt joined Mutual Ventures in 2018 to help build our Health offer. He has over 20 years’ experience working in NHS and Local Authority environments, from both a public sector and consultancy perspective, including Provider and Commissioner roles. He has a strong track record in leading programmes across the NHS, including systemwide transformation, collaborative programmes and development and implementation of Provider Collaboratives.

Matt is seen as a trusted advisor and programme manager on collaborative programmes and Place and System transformation, including acute, community, mental health and primary care sectors.

He is currently leading systemwide transformational programmes focusing on Children and Young People’s Neurodivergence across Health and Education; All Age Learning Disabilities across the Acute sector; and implementation of a systemwide Primary Care Collaborative.

Matt is passionate about enabling collaboration across stakeholder groups and organisational boundaries. He excels at developing long-lasting and trusting relationships. Delivery focused and committed to achieving positive outcomes for service users and carers.

Matt lives in North Yorkshire, where he enjoys hiking with his partner and three boys, cinema, photography, and indulging in good food.
