John O’Brien

John is a Strategic Advisor to Mutual Ventures and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience across local, regional and central government. His role is to enhance the team’s existing expertise in the delivery of local priorities and central government programmes.

John represented London’s local authorities as Chief Executive of London Councils' between March 2007 and April 2021. Prior to that, he worked in senior roles in Government, the IDeA and in consultancy with KPMG.
