Sally Dickens

Sally, who is a Chartered Planner and specialist in Regeneration and Economic Development, joined Mutual Ventures after six years working within Regeneration and Economic Development roles across the public and private sectors where she primarily worked across projects with place-based challenges at their core. Within these roles, Sally has led projects including strategic urban regeneration, economic development and innovation, visions for placemaking, and working across partnerships to enact positive change across town centres and neighbourhoods. She is passionate about improving the built environment, and ensuring it serves the local residential and business community to achieve wider aims.

Whilst working as a Neighbourhood Regeneration Manager, Sally worked in partnership with a range of stakeholders including local authorities, Business Improvement Districts, and business and resident groups to ensure that the vision proposed for a place reflected and responded to the diverse requirements of the local community whilst also being sufficiently aspirational.

Sally has a BA in History from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Spatial Planning from University College London and has recently become Chartered with the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Away from work, Sally enjoys running and yoga, reading, and is newly into crocheting!
