The Health & Well-being partnership
Created in January 2015, the Health and Wellbeing Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) is a new model for delivering integrated public health and social care services. Comprised of nine social enterprises and charities, the LLP has been forged to meet the ever-increasing move towards ‘macro-commissioning’. The joint ownership model removes perverse incentives from the service user pathways and shares surpluses/risk equally between delivery partners. The model also provides a collective investment platform for the members and creates opportunities for smaller third sector partners to both access larger contracts and investment.
MV was unanimously chosen by members as an ongoing strategic partner and through a Big Potential Advanced grant, MV is currently supporting the LLP to:
- Develop a strategic plan;
- Develop a due diligence process;
- Develop their secretariat function;
- Bid for new contracts; and
- Develop investment cases.
Scott Darraugh, Health and Well-being Partnership Board Member: “Mutual Ventures have an excellent understanding of the LLP services and marketplace. Their values, expertise and collaborative way of working are highly valued by the members”.
