Laura Power-Wharton

Laura is passionate about public sector improvement particularly with regards to bringing services together across sectors to better service citizens while reducing inefficiencies. She brings to MV over 12 years’ experience of working either directly in the public sector or as a management consultant supporting public services. She has worked as a Commissioner on behalf of local government covering both adult and children’s services and also project managed the development and implementation of citizen portals transforming the way health and social care information is delivered.

Laura most recently worked for NHS Digital, where she was responsible for managing the implementation of digital projects across London from both a technical perspective and also embedding the business change.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys live music, running and yoga.
