Essack Miah

Essack joined Mutual Ventures after six years working in the Metropolitan Police Service as an operational police officer across four frontline departments. He is passionate about helping public services to provide tangible impact in the communities they serve.

Whilst working in the Met, Essack worked closely with a range of public services including local authorities, charities, colleges and schools, an NHS Trust and a local mental health trust. Essack understands how frontline services operate on a day-to-day basis and what can be done to improve working habits to ensure better public services for all.

Essack has an MA in Law from the University of Cambridge. Away from work, Essack enjoys reading, going to the gym and watching crime documentaries. He is hoping Arsenal FC are onto bigger and better things, and no longer considers “top 4” in the same bracket as a trophy.
