MV playing a leading role in Government drive for more Public Service Mutuals

Mutual Ventures are delighted to be playing a leading role on two important central government public service reform programmes.

DCMS Minister, Tracey Crouch, has announced that organisations that wish to become or grow as Public Service Mutuals can now apply for a share of up to £1.7 million in funding.

Mutual Support Programme 2.0 – A total of £1.2 million will be available to support the creation of new mutuals and alternative delivery models, or strengthen existing ones, by providing access to advice across areas including: options appraisals; business planning; financial modelling; legal advice; and people and operations planning.

Mutual Ventures are delighted to be working in partnership with Baxendale, BWB and Bevan Brittan to deliver this programme.  See here for more detail on eligibility etc.

Mutuals Partnership Support Programme – The remaining £500,000 will be used to pilot other support programmes such as partnership working to help Mutuals collaborate with voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations and others to broaden the service they offer. This offer of support is in response to the challenge many already established mutuals face as they look to grow through winning new contracts, developing partnerships and attracting investment.
